I started with Peak Performance in the summer of 2007 to help me stay healthy while recovering from an injury. Now, Peak has become a regular part of my life. Despite leading a very active life including mountain biking, running, hiking, and in the past, rock-climbing (and whatever else I could fit in), I have never seen results as good as I have achieved over the past five months with Peak. I am fitter, tighter and stronger than ever before. As I am returning to my regular sports I am finding I am stronger than pre-injury. I am more confident and my clothes fit better. I am 50 years old and have been living with HIV for over 25 years. About 8 years ago I was very devastated as I noticed my body fat disappearing (a wasting symptom caused by the long term use of the HIV anti-retroviral drugs that I am on). I was starting to look like a skeleton draped in skin. I felt like I as withering away to nothing. My specific goal when signing on with the Peak Fitness Management team was to replace the lost body fat with muscle. I look in the mirror now and see a strong healthy man which does so much for me psychologically. All of my doctors are in agreement that working out has been one of the best decisions I have made and believe it is a contributing factor to my longevity. Peak designs programs for me that has not only put the muscle where I needed it and has me in the best shape I have ever been in. My workouts are intense; I could never push myself as hard my trainers push me. They will not let me do less than my best, making me challenge myself constantly. I think it is important for anybody working in the health or fitness industry to be intuitive and perceptive. The Peak trainers posses both of these qualities. They have a great sense of humour and most importantly, they genuinely care about the people they trains. I recommend the Peak team without any reservation. I feel privileged and honoured to have them as my trainers.

I have been training with Peak Fitness Management for almost 6 years now. I always thought I was in pretty good shape. I ran quite a bit and even trained for a marathon at one point in my life. Since training with Peak, however, I quickly realized that I was nowhere near my peak potential and was even neglecting many parts of my physical fitness. Within three months of starting my training I noticed immediate results. I was stronger than ever before, and could push myself further than I ever did before. I trained with Peak throughout my second pregnancy and it truly made a difference in my overall body and shape while I was pregnant. After having my baby, my goal was to lose my pregnancy weight as quickly as I could, and with Peak’s help, I was back down to my pre-pregnancy weight within 6 weeks and was able to do my first chin-up on my own within 3 months of having my baby. These are goals that I could not have reached had I not trained with the PFM team. I would highly recommend them to anyone, with any level of fitness. They are an enjoyable team to work with and will tailor a training plan that will enable you to meet all of your fitness and lifestyle goals.

Thank you to you and your team for your training and guidance after my back surgery. As a Peak Performance client for 4 years, I have always been very impressed with my entire training experience. I have found the entire Peak team to be supportive, knowledgeable and invested in my results. I initially went to see Peak when I was a competitive athlete, since then I have had many life transitions and Peak has followed me through, adapting my workouts if I have an injury, am stressed at work, or am feeling super motivated. I have been so impressed with my workouts and the changes in my body in relation to my strength, cardio and weight loss. What is most impressive to me of the Peak team is how committed they are to each individual. When I decided to challenge myself and sign up for a triathlon, my entire workouts changed. The trainers researched the sport and made sure all my workouts complemented my other training. They constantly re-evaluate the workouts, my goals and my results. Peak Performance has helped me reach my potential in the gym and my trainer has the ability to push and motivate me to work as hard as I can. My workouts are jam-packed and the trainers are always mindful of both my potential and my limits and how hard to push me. I find the variety in the workouts helps keep me motivated and interested every time I train. Another thing that I find really helpful is that all the Peak staff look at their clients as a whole person not just the person they see in the gym. They not only train you effectively in a way that works for each individual, they have tons of knowledge about nutrition, great tips on stress management, injury prevention and important other info to help you live a balanced life. Throughout my time at Peak I have been very pleased. After each session I leave feeling like I can accomplish anything, I feel strong and good about myself. My sessions have kept me motivated, working hard and SUPER happy with my results. The staff are fun, high energy and dedicated. I always look forward to my sessions. Thank you!
